Luna Shamsuddoha, a talent rarely found: Mustafa Jabbar
Mustafa Jabbar, Minister of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology, commemorated Luna Shamsuddoha and marked her as a talent rarely found in ICT sector. While speaking in a virtual commemoration and discussion on life and work of recently departed ICT personality and Director of BASIS, the minister remembered her contribution and active role in making policies and acts as remarkably commendable.
The virtual meeting was held on Wednesday and chaired by Syed Almas Kabir, President, BASIS. Salman F. Rahman, Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister; Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology; S.M. Kamal, Ex-President, BASIS; Sarwar Alam, Habibullah N. Karim, Shahidul Munir, President, BCS; Wahid Sharif, President, BACCO; Munir Hasan, General Secretary, BdOSN; Farhana A. Rahman, Vice President, BASIS; Mushfikur Rahman and members of BASIS remembered the life and work of Luna Shamsuddoha.
The speakers also demanded to introduce honorary prizes after her name.
At the end of the program, Nahid Ahmed, Ex-Secretary General of BASIS, conducted a special prayer for the salvation of the departed soul.
